Fake Samsung S6 phones
We love Samsung phones. Samsung S6 is probably the best phone right now for product loading. It has the speed, the screen size and an excellent camera to make it the best tool for the job. They are quite reliable too, if they are actually Samsung-made phones.
We were unlucky to come into possession of a fake S6 some time ago and made a side by side comparison with a genuine one.
How to tell if your Samsung S6 is fake
There is a lot of advice on the Internet how to tell if it’s a fake. Most of them are based on visual appearance, packaging or how it feels in your hand.
We believe there are 2 most reliable indicators it’s a fake:
- chipset manufacturer (watch the video above)
- quality of the camera (watch the video below)
Most of the cheap Android phones are running on cheap MTK chipsets and CPUs, but it can be a bit confusing for a non-technical user to dig through the settings for the information. Why not take a photo?
Funny twist – signature of the forger
The purchase of a very well made fake copy could be prevented if I scanned the QR code on the box right there, in front of the seller.
Advice for our app users
We do recommend Samsung S6 as your product and order management phone.
- Buy a new one from a reputable retailer, if you can.
- There is nothing wrong with buying a used Samsung S6 – it will probably work just as well.
- If it’s very cheap and new, then it’s probably fake.
